William Hinchliff has been teaching adult education courses on Chicago
architecture,
literature, and history for over 15 years, and leading city
tours by
bicycle, bus,
boat and foot even longer. He has written articles on
Chicago and its
suburbs for
area journals,
co-authored a booklet on the
architecture
of
George
Maher in
Kenilworth,
and contributed to the highly
acclaimed American
Institute
of
Architects (AIA) Guide to Chicago.
The headline of a 1991 Chicago
Tribune
article
about Bill
and one
of his tours described him as "the architect of a great evening,"
and
speaking "with the fervor of a gameshow host and the specifics of a scholar." |
